    one  is time taken (without any software),

    *Close the unwantd applications and processes running in th background from the task manager
    like
    DWM (dynamic windows manager only in vista/seven)

protecting your personal data against theft

folder locker and any other softwares are useless for protecting the personal data against theft .
I dont trust any software for my safety
because i have my own methods to extract data from the data protected by folder locker and similar softwares
every software has a its antidote in various forms
i trust only my methods for data safety i created or the methods by others which i have checked that they dont have any antidote

here is my one simple method

1. create a virtual hard disk (vhd format ) using windows 7

2. transfer all your personal data in the virtual hard disk you created

3. lock this file (vhd file format) by using any folder lock

because if somone breaks into your computer by using linux then this file will be of no use for him

it will be usable in only windows seven

there is also the method to break into this security

if i post that method now then

this method will be a waste for the data security

I dont know why people waste their so much time as well as others also by doing 2minute work in 20 minutes .
If i begin to count on these type of mistakes done by people
there will be a list of 100 to 1000 examples .
I am saying this because i have seen this.
This is my personal experience

For example if you have a big collction of movies/series/episodes and your friend is asking which which movies/series/episodes are you having
then what will you do
you will write each and every name of the movie and send a message to your friend
who will do this time taking work i will not do this
think smart
think in a different way


download any screen capturing softwares which suits your needs (eg : prtscr )

go to the dirctories in which you have the movies then use th software
and take th screenshots of the dirctories
and send all the screenshots to your friend
and see the difference
I guarantee you this will save your 80 to 90 % of your time

there is one another example when my friend was preparing a project for his presentation
he was saying he doesnt have much time he has to complete his project in half an hour
he was using windows printscreen feature for taking the screenshots and then using paint ro create a file but
it was not sufficint to make a project
i told him what are you doing it will not be compleleted in half an hour
he was saying is there any another fast method for doing this
i told him to use any software to take the scrteenshots
i gave the software to him and
when i told him to how to oprate
he was like "buddy! what a software"
in 5 min his project was ready

softwares have been created to save the users time and they dont use them when they need them
not only in computers in real life also people dont think that there is another way also for doing things
some times one method is fast for some work but it can be slow for the another
so make a habit of using altrenatives



people always do mistakes and then say "I dont have much time what will happen to me"

rescuing the data from an older pc having less than128mb ram

ever tried lubuntu  ( lightest ubuntu deriviative )

can be installed /used on any older pc having older configuration (takes less than 128 mb of ram coz i have tried this on an older pc)
features :  can run songs , movies ,etc


but it doesnt have bootable pendrive option (startup disk creater)

but u can make a bootable pen drive of lubuntu by using normal ubuntu

go to the usb disk startup

and select the iso image of lubuntu

and select the pendrive / portable hard drive ,  whatever you want

internet security is not enough for pc protection

never depend on any antivirus / internet secuity for your protection from viruses

always have an alternate for the future

for example fake-antivirus/programs (example : antivitus 2009/2010 or windows dsik defragmenter ) disables the main antivirus / internet security

so use some other applications also which are not affcted by by the fakeviruses / programs 

and which have portability also like

1. kaspersky virus removal tool works better than antiviruses

2. RRT sergiwa antiviral toolkit helps for normal functioning of the windows (because after removing the viruses its after effects always interrupts the computer users due to the changes in registries )  . it works fast

3. USB disk security (optional if RRT is not availible )

these programs are not affected by any fake-virus or similar programs
